Septic arthritis

Antibiotics should be administered in native joint infections for 2 weeks, at least. Nonetheless, each case should be individually evaluated. Whether joints are infected by Methicillin Susceptible S Aureus or Methicillin Resistant S Aureus, intravenous antibiotics must be taken for about 4 weeks.
